The SCPP is comprised of 20 members including members of legislature, members appointed by the Governor, and the Directors of Department of Retirement Systems and the Office of Financial Management. The Committee typically meets during the interim, the time between legislative sessions, however special meetings may be scheduled. At a high-level, the work of the SCPP includes studying issues and policies affecting the state's public employee retirement systems and making recommendations to the Legislature regarding changes.
