Joint Transportation Committee

On-Line Drivers Education Study     

ESSB 6001, Sec 204(8) directs the Joint Transportation Committee to coordinate a work group to develop parameters for and make recommendations regarding a pilot program for on-line drivers' education for students; and potential requirements for driver training for 18-24 year olds.    Work group participants will include representatives from the Department of Licensing, the Washington State Traffic Safety Commission, other stakeholders, interested legislators, and legislative staff.   A report is due by December 1, 2014.
