ABOUT THE STUDY

The 2016 Supplemental Operating Budget (2ESHB 2376, Section 106) requires the SCPP to study:

 

This analysis must include the implications for the following areas:

  • Tax
  • Legal
  • Fiscal/Actuarial
  • Policy
  • Administrative

The proviso also requires the SCPP to receive stakeholder input, and submit a report to the Legislature by January 9, 2017

STAKEHOLDER COMMENT

The web survey closed on August 31, 2016.  Comments can still be provided via letter or email to the SCPP.

All responses to the SCPP Merger Study Survey are published verbatim at the request of stakeholders.  Before posting, staff made a good faith effort to review the responses for Social Security Numbers, or ID numbers issued by the Department of Retirement Systems.  None were found, but if you find one please let us know where in the responses that you found it, and we will blank it out.  All other information posted here is considered a public record under Washington’s Public Records Act (RCW 42.56), and must be provided to the public upon request.
