Corky (Mattingly) Holloway was appointed Yakima County Auditor in May 2001 and elected in November 2001. Since then Corky has been re-elected three times for a total of 13 years. She will be retiring at the end of 2014.
She served as President of WSACA (Washington State Association of County Auditors) 2004-2005 and President of WACO (Washington Association of County Officials) 2011-2012. She continues to serve on the WACO board as Past President. Corky has also served on the Select Committee of Pension Policy for 11 years and on the Washington State Women's History Consortium.
Corky Holloway was born and raised in the Yakima Valley and has been active in the Yakima Community for over 35 years. She is a member of the League of Women Voters and is a graduate of Leadership Yakima. She belonged to the Yakima Kiwanis Club and is a former Board of Trustee member at YVCC. Corky has a Bachelor's degree in English and in Education from Eastern Washington University and an M.Ed. from Heritage.
Corky Mattingly married Loren Holloway in 2013. Together they have five daughters and 12 grandchildren.
