Is it a violation to post items on official social media that are either puff pieces more appropriate for campaign flyers or post items that have absolutely no legislative nexus?

Yes. All items posted on official social media must have a tangible legislative nexus and items posted that extol a legislator’s virtue are better placed in campaign literature than on official social media.
