Does Sen. Alvarado’s employment outside the legislature conflict with her legislative duties?
- Summary
No. Since taking office Sen. Alvarado has taken steps to remove any conflicts between her employment and legislative duties. That she sponsored a bill on rent stabilization while her employer is involved in affordable housing is not a conflict.
