ABOUT LOCAL GOVERNMENT IMPACT FEE DEFERRAL PROGRAMS
RCW 82.02.050(3)(h)(i) requires that counties, cities, and towns that are required or choose to plan under
RCW 36.70A.040 and collecting impact fees must cooperate with and provide requested data, materials, and assistance to the Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Committee (JLARC). JLARC has developed an online survey to collect information from these local governments about their impact fee deferral programs. Jurisdictions may also report that they do not collect impact fees.
