Senate Local Government Committee

    The Senate Local Government Committee considers issues relating to:

    • The Growth Management Act, including land use planning and permitting (unless primarily related to housing)
    • The Shoreline Management Act
    • The operation of counties and cities, including water, sewer, and waste issues
    • The operation of some special purpose districts
    • Parks and recreation
