Complaint Opinion 05-01

​Alleged that respondent violated RCW 42.52.160 through prolonged and extensive personal use of state computer; use of computer to conduct business of private association; and use of public facilites to adversely influence employment relationship of third party with whom respondent had an ongoing dispute.

​Respondent's actions constituted reasonable cause to believe RCW 42.52.160 had been violated.  Respondent entered into stipulation to that effect and paid reimbursement to state for investigative costs in addition to a monetary penalty.
