​Did alleged remarks which were characterized as bigoted, hateful and inflammatory, invoke the jurisdiction of the Legislative Ethics Board?

Summary

​No. The Ethics Act does not address a legislator's remarks, which were expressed in an earlier ethics complaint, about certain faith-based organizations.  Board cited precedents and dismissed for lack of subject-matter jurisdiction.
