Did Respondent violate RCW 42.52.180 by posting on her legislative home page the Legislator of the Year and similar awards with which she has been presented for her legislative work?

Summary

No. Unlike scorecards whose primary and customary use is for political campaigns, legislator of the year and similar awards recognize a legislator’s work in a policy area. There is a direct and substantial nexus between the award and the legislative activity for which the legislator is being recognized.
