The Office of the State Actuary (OSA) contracts with the seven higher education institutions that participate in the Supplemental Retirement Plan. We provide actuarial support to help them meet their financial reporting and accounting needs for this plan.
OSA is also responsible for presenting Supplemental Retirement Plan information to the Select Committee on Pension Policy (SCPP) and the Pension Funding Council (PFC). OSA’s role, along with the responsibilities of the SCPP and PFC regarding this plan, are defined in
