​2ESHB 1299, Sec 204(2) appropriates $125,000 for a study of weigh station planning, placement and operations by the Washington State Patrol and the Washington State Department of Transportation.  The goal is evaluate the system's efficiency in managing operations and capital assets, and its effectiveness in achieving road preservation, traffic safety and freight mobility goals.  A final report is due December 14, 2015.​
