Biography
Born in Allegheny County, New York on March 15, 1842, Charles E. Coon was a federal and civic official. He served as Assistant Secretary of the U.S. Treasury and Mayor of Port Townsend. He also was elected to the House of Representatives from Jefferson County in 1919.
